WHO: Friends of Kashmir, a broad-based coalition of Kashmiri, South Asian, faith-based, and solidarity groups.

WHAT: Protest against Narendra Modi’s right-wing Hindu nationalist government as well as demand to end the occupation of Kashmir and for right to Kashmiri self-determination. 

WHEN: Friday, September 27th, 10 AM – 2 PM EST

WAYS TO GET THERE:
– NYC Subway: Nearest stations are 4/5/6/7/S at Grand Central Terminal, E/M at Lexington Ave-53rd St and 6 at 51st St. 

– From Penn Station: Take the E to Lexington Ave-53rd Street, walk east to 2nd Ave, make a right on 2nd Ave and then a left on E 47th St

– From Grand Central Terminal: Walk east towards Lexington Ave, make a left on Lexington Ave, make a right on E 47th St
